The manufacturing behind the O'Bryan Profarm Scraper

What the 410 Profarm is Built for

Farm dam construction on smaller properties — building or enlarging farm water storage where a full-size scraper would be difficult to manoeuvre

Paddock levelling and surface grading — removing humps and filling hollows to improve trafficability and drainage

Irrigation channel earthworks — forming and shaping channels and banks

Drainage earthworks — cutting small to medium open drains across paddocks

Land clearing and topsoil stripping — preparing areas for cultivation, seeding, or revegetation projects

Smaller civil sites — where access is restricted or the scale of the earthworks does not justify a larger machine

The ejector mechanism gives the 410 ProFarm a significant practical advantage over a conventional open-bowl scraper of equivalent size. In Australian clay soils, particularly after rain open bowls pack tight and require manual clearing. The hydraulic ejector plate in the 410 ProFarm pushes material out cleanly on every cycle, keeping the machine productive even when the soil conditions are testing.

Tractor Requirements

The 410 ProFarm is designed to work with smaller tractors than the HD range,  making it practical for the majority of Australian farming operations that run tractors in the 200–300HP class. Contact our team to confirm compatibility with your specific machine and discuss hitch configuration.

Build Quality

Manufactured across our quality controlled factories using premium Australian steel, the 410 ProFarm shares the same construction philosophy as the larger machines in the O’Bryan range. Fully welded components. Quality pressed and fabricated.  Built to last in the conditions Australian farmers actually work in, not to a price point.

O'BRYAN
410 Profarm Ejector Scraper

Compact Ejector Scraper for Farming

The O’Bryan 410 ProFarm is our entry-level ejector scraper, compact, highly capable, and purpose-built for smaller farming properties and light civil applications. With a 6.5 cubic metre heaped bowl capacity and 10-foot (3,048mm) cutting edge, the 410 ProFarm is the right machine for farm dam construction on smaller properties, paddock shaping and levelling, irrigation channel earthworks, and land clearing jobs where a larger machine would be impractical or cost-prohibitive.

Don’t let ‘entry-level’ mislead you. The 410 ProFarm is built to the same engineering standard as every machine in the O’Bryan range — fully welded Australian steel components, hydraulic ejector door, and backed by our 2-year warranty. It simply carries the same quality in a scaled-down package matched to the equipment and budgets of smaller farming operations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — the 410 ProFarm is specifically designed to work with smaller tractors that could not efficiently pull the larger ProFarm or HD models. Contact our team with your tractor make, model and horsepower to confirm the best configuration for your machine.

Yes. The 410 ProFarm is well-suited to farm dam construction on smaller to medium properties. The 6.5m³ bowl moves meaningful volumes per cycle, and the ejector mechanism ensures consistent performance in clay soils throughout the job. For very large dam projects, the 4.3 ProFarm or 4.5 HD would provide faster cycle times.

The 4.3 ProFarm has a larger bowl (12m³ vs 6.5m³), a wider cutting edge (13ft vs 10ft), and requires higher horsepower (300HP+ vs smaller tractor range). The 410 is the better choice for smaller properties, lighter tractor fleets, or applications where the scale of work doesn't justify the larger machine.

Yes — the ejector mechanism in the 410 ProFarm is specifically designed to handle sticky Australian clay soils. Rather than relying on gravity to empty the bowl (which fails in wet, sticky conditions), the hydraulic ejector plate pushes material out cleanly on every cycle.
